I will also offer my KIDO Course called "Control without
Excessive Force". A course developed in the Dojo and proposed by me for use to the Police
Department of Puerto Rico in 2007. My next Course Offering is called: Interchangeable Technique
& Transitional Footwork...a course I developed for in the Dojo use. It is intended to nurture the cooperation of
the partners through synchronicity of the breath, movements, and applications. Training the students in a safe and cooperative
manner. This allows the students to become more knowledgeable of the self through working with partners to develope
their skills together. If I know me, I know you. This course ends with a Show and Tell time with the partners.
This allows the students to combine the training with the art they are already studying and leads to self expression.
Regarding "Morning Tai Chi"...this offering will begin with
#18 Set of Chi Kung we do daily, each exercise drill will be displayed, and broken down at presentation, these are moving
energy exercises. next we will present the Forms and Postures of Morning Tai Chi, their use and

"Falcon Martial Arts Academy"
has become part of the
KIDO RYU International
...a martial arts organization whose
mission statement is to share Martial knowledge to all receptive to its expression.
Since 1970 we have been serving the Brooklyn community.
We have always supported community based artist that nurture the community
they live in. These days our community has grown to unimaginable proportions.
Thanks to the receptivity of the local instructors we have met around
the world, at competitions, seminars, cross-trainings, hall of fame events, etc. we have been able to enjoy sharing our expression
and also we have had the pleasure to enjoy other expressions on our travels. We have so much in common.
Regardless of what is said when someone inquires
about classes,
I always hear the main theme:
"I want to improve the quality of my life"
or the life of a loved one.
In the past we have worked successfully with the
Ministry of Education as well as with the Ministry of Sports & Youth
Affairs ( in Trinidad) to bring in talented Master level Teachers of the Martial Arts to teach martial arts to the youth
of Trinidad & Tobago. Through our work with the Black Hawks Martial Arts Network over the years we have been instrumental
in upgrading the level of competency of the athletes' of this country to successfully compete on the international stage.
Grand Master Christopher Francis and Professor Ruben Torres have worked together for years to build a network of continuing
education for the martial artists in the Caribbean.
These days the KIDO RYU are moving
forward to develope their own students in the Caribbean.
Professor Francis and Master Kevin Hufford have successfully promoted
their Pan-Caribbean International Martial Arts Championships every year in October.
The KIDO RYU will be supportive of their events
which is in-line with our past support of the Black Hawks organization.
As a matter of fact,
All are welcome at the
KIDO RYU SEMINARS and Events.
The only events scheduled for this year that
are exclusively for the Falcon Martial Arts Academy
will be the
"Basic Foundation Introductions"
conducted by
Sensei Kurt Pitt & Professor Ruben Torres
&
Sensei Jean Therency
***Schools wishing to participate or have their own private seminars with Prof. Torres should
make contact via email with Prof. Torres kidoryu_jujitsu@hotmail.com

always well attended.

classes at the
KIDO DOJO during Prof. Torres's absence.

of
KIDO RYU

Point Sparring Mens Division 35 years old and over, and was awarded the Gold Medal for First Place.
Sensei Vincent Nero is the current Representative for
KIDO RYU International in Trinidad.
