This program is specifically designed to nurture and guide the student candidates through the different developmental stages.

While, I understand that the candidates to this program may not be knowledeable about martial arts,
I have included the sessions that are not only hands on application training but also the "oral transmissions" between teacher and student.
Without the oral transmissions, the candidate is suceptible to interpretation and/or version of the perceived information, not necessarily that information passed on by the teacher.

KIDO RYU International
 ...a martial arts organization,
Our mission statement:
Through martial science we aim to assist the communities we serve by implementing positive programs for the re-enforcement of healthy habits in our youth and adults.  We are truely concerned with "Self-Defense". The protection of one's self and their loved ones.  This implies a concern into how martial arts is being presented.  It is our aim to develope good and compassionite members of our society and to share Martial knowledge to all receptive to its expression. RT

Since 1970 we have been serving the Brooklyn community.
We have always supported community based artist that nurture the community they live in.  These days our community has grown to unimaginable proportions.  Thanks to the receptivity of the local instructors we have met around the world, at competitions, seminars, cross-trainings, hall of fame events, etc. we have been able to enjoy sharing our expression and also we have had the pleasure to enjoy other expressions on our travels.  We have so much in common.

Regardless of what is said when someone inquires about classes,
I always hear the main theme:
"I want to improve the quality of my life"
or the life of a loved one.

Record of Completion
In the past we have worked successfully with the
Ministry of Education as well as with the Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs ( in Trinidad) to bring in talented Master level Teachers of the Martial Arts to teach martial arts to the youth of Trinidad & Tobago.  Through our work with the Black Hawks Martial Arts Network over the years we have been instrumental in upgrading the level of competency of the athletes' of this country to successfully compete on the international stage.

Grand Master Christopher Francis and Professor Ruben Torres have worked together for years to build a network of continuing education for the martial artists in the Caribbean.

These days the KIDO RYU  are moving forward to develope their own students in the Caribbean.
The Black Hawks Martial Arts Network under the guidance of Professor Francis have teamed up with Master Kevin Hufford/Dragon Fire Dojo(upstate new York) and  have successfully promoted their Pan-Caribbean International Martial Arts Championships every year for the past 5 years.

The KIDO RYU will be supportive of their events which is in line with our past support of the Black Hawks Martial Arts Network/Organization.

Now regarding the offerings the KIDO RYU family will make in the most recent future:
All are welcome at the
KIDO RYU SEMINARS and Events.

The only events scheduled for this year that are exclusively for the Falcon Martial Arts Academy
