KIDO RYU INTERNATIONAL

My Course Offerings for the Summer Camp are varied.

I work with students ages 3 yrs+

I also accept students of all challenges and skill levels.

I do not discriminate against color, race, religion or past exprerience.

I do not give honorary ranks.  All of my students must train.

The first

KIDO RYU International Dojo Charter

was issued to Falcon Martial Arts Academy/ Sensei Vincent Nero.  I have chosen him to represent me in Trinidad for the purpose of spreading KIDO RYU throughout the country of Trinidad & Tobago

We have been in close communication since October 2004.

Sensei Nero and his son, have just recently (Feb. 2009)returned from a visit to New York to continue their training in KIDO RYU.

Please make contact with

Sensei Nero at:322-3810 or 493-5706

to let us know if you are receptive at this time to my visit, and also don't forget to give him the dates and times you would like to have me come and visit your Dojo, Kwoon, Program, home, etc.  I will try to accommodate everyone with enough notice.

I will cover subjects in Hapkido/Tae kwon do such as KIDO Flexibility Sets

(floor stretches, Bar Stretches, Moving Stretches, and Partner Stretches),

Chambering the hands and legs, Pivoting, Postures and Stance work, Internal Breathing Patterns of KIDO, Conditioning drills, the Original KIDO 13 Self Defense Techniques, Bow staff and Escrima Forms.

In Northern Shaolin Kung Fu,  I will cover and present the Iron Shirt, Yi Jin Jing, Damo's Static Postures, the Stance Work and Combination Drills of the Shaolin Temple that I trained in.

In Aiki Skills, I will present the

KIDO Set of Rolls & Falls, 7 Judo Throws, Reaps, Sweeps, Come-a-longs, and Course #1 The combination of the Rolls & Falls, Throws, Locks, and strikes as used for Self Defense purposes.

I will also offer my KIDO Course called "Control without Excessive Force"

A course developed in the Dojo and proposed by me for use to the

Police Department of

Puerto Rico in 2007

My next Course Offering is called: Interchangeable Technique & Transitional Footwork...a course I developed for in the Dojo use.  It is intended to nurture the cooperation of the partners through synchronicity of the breath, movements, and applications.  Training the students in a safe and cooperative manner.  This allows the students to become more knowledgeable of the self through working with partners to develope their skills together.  If I know me, I know you.  This course ends with a "Show and Tell" time with the partners.  This allows the students to combine the training with the art they are already studying and leads to self expression.
